Hockey?! You call that a sport? You must not have heard of hurling thenThat sounds a lot like lacrosse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacrosse) maybe there was some pan-Atlantic contamination somewhere in the wayback.

Providence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Providence_Bruins) is the main farm team for the Boston Bruins of the NHL, they play one tier down in the AHL

those are pictures from the CFL. From top to the bottom: Toronto Argonauts, Calgary Stampeders, Hamilton Tiger Cats, Montreal Alouttes (not sure on the spelling), Edmonton Eskimos (\o/), Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and last but not least Saskatchewan Rough Riders.??? Wooooow, and I thought remembering pi in 36 numbers was useless.... :P

Those pictures appear to be an advertising series for the BC Lions ridiculing fans of the other teams. I guess that would mean they are targeting Canuck fans as that is the BC hockey team.
It is sad to see the lengths the NHL goes to to prevent the Habs from dominating the league. It took adding 24 teams and imposing a host of other changes.

I always like the Red Wings.
/me tip toes out.
That is why there is no more of those battles because it is not that fun anymore.
When was the last time Calgary and Edmonton faces in the play-offs?

The Red WIngs might win this year if they solve the Eastern Conference teams
*edit*
The Canucks are facing Minnesota tonight. GO CANUCKS!
dude, their names are on their jerseys and so are the team logos. It's nothing like remembering pi to 37 decimal places...there's not much memory worked involved.Dudin, like I saw that like, whaevah... Taking to time to see it and name it, that's what my equation was about ;)
