What does this word mean? I see it has 40 hits on Google but I cannot find a definition. The context seems to imply it is a misspelling for suggested but maybe not.
-
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's just a misspelling for suggested. If you look at the where the e, s, r, and a keys on your computer it appears that they're all fairly close and not hard to mix up... for lesser beings, of course. ;)
-
That is probably why it looked so familiar. I am no stranger to typos myself though I cannot recall making that one before.

Maybe it's a test of quality using glucose. Sug(g)ar-rated.
I know, pretty lame. <.<
-
suggerate: verb, the process of exposing land to glucose to make crops taste sweeter. Example: "Farmer John suggerated his field last week so that he will be able to grow sweet corn next spring."
(play on the concept of http://www.thefreedictionary.com/aerated )
:)
except sugar is spelled with only 1 "g", but meh.
-
hehheh. maybe it is akin to candied cod ... eating sugared gar!

I think I heard someone say that when I was visiting the hospital... Don't really want to know what it means if it's really a word. ::|

Move a few letters around and change the u to an e, and you get segregated. Could that be the word?
-
I thought a mentalist suggerates his "victims" (~ makes them believe) e.g. that he can bend spoons by his mental force. ;)
Well, it is possibly a "false friend", a lame translation (assuming that a latin based word exists in several languages in a nearly same form). According to my available dictionaries, the german term "jemandem etwas suggerieren" should be translated to "persuade somebody of something".
