Title: I have a little amount of mana - bug?
Post by: Klojstr on February 18, 2008, 01:50:56 pm
I had about 171 HP and more than 400 mana point (Dermorian character). I died. I was cursed after leaving the Death Realm. HP was aproximately at half, but mana at -1. After 10th of minutes I regained HP back to 171 and mana raised to only 49. Is it a bug?

Too me it sound the 400 mana points you had before were a bug ;). I wish I had so much mana. Or is it possible you mistake Mental Stamina for Mana?

when you leave the DR you are put under a curse that removes half of all your stats for 30 rl minutes after you have been ingame for 30 minutes they should go back to normal.

I created my character 10 days ago a i really had 171 HP more than 400 of mana points. I was surprised by that number. If you say that 49 is normal then 400+ MP after creation of character was a bug.
Could anybody tell me the equations for HP and MP derived from stats?

The equations used to decide the mana or hit points are stored in the server database, I don't know what the ones used on laanx are, as they are obviously not the same as the test database.

As far as creating a character with -1 or 400+ mana, I don't think it's a bug, it's just how the math script works... it may be changed quite easily to a better formula some day, if necessary.
