Hi
i use ubuntu gutsy 64
amd x2 4200
6600gt graphics card
I installed Planeshift but i cant run it
when i run psclient i get this error:
psclient: No 3d driver (iGraphics3D) plugin!
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

and when i run pssetup i get this error:

and updater cant connect mirrors gets 404 error i should give code:

i installed crystalspace(sudo apt-get install crystalspace) but still not working.
i search internet and forum but i cant find it (similar but not same i think)
can u help me

you need to install the drivers for your graphics card, and the crystalspace that is in the package manger has no effect on this and most likely is very outdated compared to what ps uses, as well as there are stickies EVERYwhere that say dont run the updater there is nothing to update and it is disabled

i think my graphics drivers are already installed. i activated restricted drivers and i'm using compiz. i don't know if i should use more up to date drivers.

try to disable compiz and try again

i switched metacity by doing
metacity --replace
i got same error
and then i switched back compiz again

uninstall the crystal space in your package manager. As Caarrie said, that is probably very outdated and the PS binary comes with the CS version it needs. Then re-install PS and let us know how things are.
