I have just installed the newest version of planeshift and i completed the turtorial but when it started loading the 'real world' it crashes and now every time i try to load the world the game crashes (i even tried to make a new character and load the world but that doesn't works either) i have:
windows XP
0.98 GB free space
planeshift 0.3.020
i got a ATI video card
where can you see your RAM?

what graphics card do you have? and free up some space and see if that helps, as well as how much ram do you have?

I'm in the first tutorial steps, and the game crashed twice without any error message until now.

Um not really the same, there are known issues with particular graphics card, for instance there is an issue with the ATI 9200 series and some of the shaders and effects used in the full game that aren't used in the tutorial, but I'm not sure the intel 946 even supports OpenGL, can you get into the tutorial?

I had this problem when I installed the most recent client. What I did to fix it was install the old client, copy the old maps and paste them into the new client's map folder. Although I don't know where you can find the old client nowadays.
