Title: Circle of Legends Guild
Post by: Sabrewulf on March 26, 2003, 04:09:10 pm
I am taking inquiries about joining this good aligned guild. As the game is in early development so is the webpage as well as the guild itself. I am in search of Honest and Trustworthy ppl mature enough to handle responsibilities regarding the planeshift game. The website is http://circleoflegends.hwgn.net The only thing I ask now is that you have played PS at least a week and know the basics.Thanx :D

We are looking for ppl to fill positions in these sections:

Knights(Swordsman,Archers,etc.)-All out bad guy hunting. Is the offensive front for the guild to do such tasks as completing quests-Skizzik/Ilah

Tactical Forces-( Scouts,Assasins,Thieves ,etc)Does Recon and sets traps, etc. Aids fighters and mages in completing offensive manuevers such as completing quests-Crj

Mages/Healers(Warlocks,Clerics,etc)-Is the offensive aid to the fighters for tasks such as completing quests.-Bedwyr/Jeffka

Craftsmen(Swordsmith,Armorsmith,etc)- Strictly craft armor, weapons, buildings etc. to either be sold to other non guild players or given to guild members- Woodstriker

Merchants(Brewers,Fisherman,Hunters,etc.-sells all crafted merchandise and also contains the \"food service\" related jobs and \"Perishable Items crafters/makers as they would be selling said stuff and the Craftsmen are already full with equipment crafters (also gives them something else to do beside standing around just selling)-Ericeliza

Guild defense(All Classes)-Focus on strictly defending the guild and its outposts(including guarding scouts merchants craftsmen etc.)All sections listed are included in this section as we need this one to focus on the defense of the guild. For instance a fighter class can join this if hed rather defend us then go hunting bad guys. The only difference is that itll be easier to report to this sections leader about defense as opposed to trying to report to the offensive sections and confusing them as they will be concentrating on offensive tactics rather than defensive.-Bushie

These are not based on what job u have but what u want to do for the guild and the game. More depts may develop as we find out how the game progresses but these should be sufficient at least in the 1st alpha stages. Please realize that these sections arent meant to separate anybody, the whole point of this guild is to play as a team, help each other out and have fun doing it. Obviously playin as a team will benefit everyone in the guild. These are set up just to make it easier to see how well the guild is doin. I expect the sections to intermingle and aid each other out. Scouts running with fighters and mages will be quite normal. Its not to be set like scouts go out then report back and send the fighters out oh no . It will be quite fun to see how these teamups wo rk out.

BTW we have an irc room you can visit and introduce yourself. Its on the same server as the planeshift fan room  irc.undermind.net and the room is #COL.Our forums are up so come say hi.

Total Members=25

I don\'t think your timezone is an issue. There are ppl awake at all times all over there world. ;)

But to all of you, who want to join an timezone independent guild:

:)Join The Forsaken Ones (http://www.theforsakenones.com):)

LOL ,Sorry if that seemed like a timezone dependent issue. Imnot trying to be specific,it was just a suggestion so that i could play with members at same time. If i can i also am not trying to be Job specific. I want to hire all that is needed not just animal trainers but i wont know until the game is functional if that will be the case or not. Oh and the site is up now. It\'s at http://www.circleoflegends.hwgn.net Check it out. :]  ;) Feel free to check it out and see what we may offer. The begiinings of a section oriented government structure are now forming as you can see in the members section on the site. Also remeber that when you join i will start you at a low rank to test your abilities and involvement in the game before promotions are made. Those that have made it to the ranks they are have done so by proving they are willing to take on the responsibility and have taken time to ensure that needed aspects are completed. I hope you will consider us and i hope to hear from you . :]  :D The section leaders have been set now we are hiring to fill those sections. Please checkout our site and reply if interested.

Tut, tut Thorgalf, advertising your own guild in someone elses guild thread ;)

Good luck with it Sabre, I\'ll look forward to seeing the site develop and hearing more about the specifics of your guild, it\'s activities and aims.

Once upon a time there was a woman named Sabrewulf who lived in a far away land but couldn\'t remember where she came from. All she could remember was her name and that she had awoken in a foreign place to her. Having trying and failing to remember she decided to start exploring this place. She came upon a great city with a statue in the middle of it and a glorious looking temple. Entering the city she started asking the few inhabitants questions regarding this city. She was answered with the history of the place. Turns out the city was called Hydlaa and the temple was to gods called Laanx and Talad.Upon further exploration she accidentally fell into the well in that temple and discovered a cavern filled with ruins of an old civilization. She noticed that there were odd items strewn about that looked like gems. Upon picking up one of these gems many images of different races filled her head. Pondering what she saw she concluded that she had seen a glimpse of the future and it looked promising.Finding another gem she had seen yet another glimpse of the future. In it he had seen the city bustling with many people and that they were confused as to where they were just as she was. She walked further along and found yet another crystal and the vision within it foretold of monsters and other dangers presenting themselves. She didn\'t like that vision as she knew that if more people came not knowing what was going on they would perish.Upon further exploring another crystal showed her of other lands outside the city. She was astonished by how many places there were to be explored. Seeing all this she decided she was going to need help and those coming in would need her help. With that in mind she decided the best thing to do was form new friendships and alliances as having new friends with a common goal would benefit if they teamed up together.Realizing that not everyone that came here to this new place was going to be friendly she needed a way to find people that were like minded and after the same things she was. Thus she started a guild, as she found out from the few inhabitants was common practice, that would adopt people with like goals.
She went to the temple and called out to the god Talad that she wanted to form a guild of good and honest people and was answered and granted her request. And then she decided that this was going to be her new home. Thus the guild Circle of Legends was born and to this day still accepts strangers that share a common purpose.

Hi, I\'m doing a comparative summary of all existing Guilds which we want to add to a PS-fansite linked to Bloodlines Guild. Apart from members info I need some more data if you have it available. I need to know something about your aims, types of members (i.e. all races, character types etc.), allignment etc.

Good story about the origins of the Guild, I like that. But the aim is a little vague, if you don\'t mind me saying 8)  ?( . \"a guild of good and honest people\" that gives us alignment, but are there any more specific goals/aims? Maybe alliances?

Please mail me or post here with some more info.

Good luck
Title:
Post by: Sabrewulf on July 20, 2003, 07:55:01 pm
Ok here goes: We are allied with TheForsakenOnes.
Our aims are to be self reliant,to aid any in need,to provide honest and fair trade to all players, and to be one of the most revered and well known guilds in the planeshift realm. We plan on being a very large guild as we are accepting all races and jobs/skills thus the reason for the sections listed above as it will aid in keeping it organized.
BTW Any interested in joining please go the the website and fill out the application as it sends me an email and i can then answer you and invite you ingame when i see you.

Hi ppl,

Jefka, you can\'t go wrong joining COL, they are a great buch of people and it is nice to see a large variety of guilds getting members.

Sabre and Dameon just to let you know that the survey is done and I\'m doing the final touches on the HTML now. If we\'re lucky we will go live by next week. I will send all those featured a URL where the can preview their section first though in-case there are any last minute changes.

Regards and good luck recruiting.

hmm... I can\'t open your site in Mozilla... I was forced to use the vile IE to see it ;(

[Edit]I liked the intro, and the music in it very much though :P, who are the artists?[/Edit]
Title:
Post by: Skizzik on September 30, 2003, 03:54:03 pm
Why couldn\'t you open it?
It might be loading very slowly (under construction). I think it has got something to do with the flash-embedding (don\'t blame me).
Title:
Post by: Xalthar on September 30, 2003, 03:57:32 pm
I open it, the screen turns white and it says \"Done\" in the loading panel... and nothing further happens..

When I use IE I get a progress bar to see how long it\'s been loading.. but I don\'t get that with Mozilla..

We aim high. I really don\'t think that there is a guild here that has not seen the loyalty, friendship, or trustworthyness of COL members. We strive for greatness and we have earned our place in Planeshift. I thank all the guilds that have supported us in our rise to glory, and the companionship that we shall not forget.

We are troubled that our former friend Frostmorn has receeded from CoL and joined the Cabal. I would usually say that he would be missed but I will not for 3 reasons.

1. We won\'t miss him at all... he was never active
2. He left without letting us know. I found out from the Cabal thread.
3. He left to join a guild that has no future.

A poor choice Frostmorn.
Title:
Post by: Sabrewulf on December 02, 2003, 05:39:05 pm
Due to lack of interest, extreme boredom and loss of active players,Circle of Legends has ceased recruiting until the release of CB.Anyone that was and is interested in joining us may still apply for the guild but invitations won\'t be done until after CB is launched.
Title:
Post by: Dameon on December 10, 2003, 01:35:30 am
Don\'t worry. I have placed myself above any Cabali threat. There is no need to glorify one\'s guild. They will prove their worth and valor. It seems that you are the one doing the threats.

Quote
3) No future? U need to do some research. A guild war so soon at the beginning of the game won\'t be very healthy for you.

We have been around since the begining... seen many guilds rise and fall... we know exactly how everything works and are prepared for anything that is thrown our way.

We have guild punishment after an incident that took place about 4 months ago. We did not put one in place because we felt that our members were above that. It was to keep ingame pleasant for everyone. We have never had to refer to that list of rules since so technically, we really don\'t need them. Besides, the rules are very flexible.

Yes, we have a court system. Instead of a guild member ratting someone out, and the legends senselessly banning a member for no reason, it is taken to our guild court for disscussion... so we are fair to all of our members. We are VERY flexible with our decisions and never quick to judge. Again, we have not had to use it... You would do the same thing... we just made it a little more official.

We are prepared for any instance instead of waiting around for these things to become a problem.

Ask any of our members. They would not trade CoL for any other guild in the game... well except for Frostmorn who was never active in the first place. He was for about a month or so. You will see his activity die down.

One of our members did leave and join another guild. He came right back because the guild he joined was WAY more demanding and strict.

Anyone remember Enraged? He was a CoL member. He left and copied our governing system in a new guild (Legendary Warriors... even the same sounds similar). Ask Draklar... he was one of them... and if I\'m not mistaken, Seperot was too. Well, back to my point... look what happened to him. Most of the newbies here don\'t even know who I am talking about... because him and LW are gone. We didn\'t even have to raise a finger.

CoL will watch and wait. If war comes our way, then so be it but we will not provoke it.

We do not intend to change the world. We intend to THRIVE in it!

Well I have to say that u guys are well structured, and seem to be well organized. But you are far to arrogent for u\'r own good. Although it doesn\'t matter to much atm, once CB arrives, and once all the power lvling Uber n00bs arrive, u might become a target. U don\'t seem to be the type to die easily though, so we\'ll have to wait and see. ;)

Ah yes, Savion. Leave it to you to bring up a dying thread. Thank you.

As I have discussed many times before, CoL is active. We have done all we possibly can with MB and are awaiting CB with great anticipation. Skizzik pops in the PS boards every once and a while and posts... but just because the others are not posting, does not mean one should jump to conclusions about a guilds activity. Still much to learn, eh Savion?

Half Pint, I remember that we had tried to get the CoL/Mirth alliance up and running, but it never really went anywhere. Once you get back, please PM me and I would be happy to discuss a future between our two guilds.
Title:
Post by: Sabrewulf on January 20, 2004, 04:36:06 pm
I go away for 2 months and return to see this and find it funny and it seems to me we are all bored. And Half Pint i believe we may have discussed about alliances before..and if i remember correctly i explained any alliances would be held off until CBs launch. Its not that we dont WANT an alliance, its the fact that as of right now the game is lacking in entertainment and we  would like to do things correctly when the new version brings back any inactive ppl in all the guilds so that a formal discussion may be held with everyone involved.

Moving on...

I have noticed that the \'Looking for a guild\' post is quite ignored. Most of the new guilds have not posted. I just updated the CoL post. I think that many of the old guilds should do the same, and any new guild should post and advertisement there. It can only help. We should also make an effort to lead people there, as I see a few people do when a new player posts a \'looking for a guild\' topic.

To Mogura:

I think you have a good idea of who is active or not in this section. Just to neaten things up, do you think you could clean out the advertisement section? If a guild is dead, I think few will think of PMing you to have the ad removed, and all it will do is confuse a person looking to join. Guilds like the Trancendant Order... or whatever the other DA guild is, the Enkidukai belivers... and I know that FSO looks dead, but they arent so I wouldn\'t remove their ad, (not sure about the others like merry men)

Thank you.

Speaking of guild news, we would like to welcome Lord Carnic back from a long time of inactivity. He was once a great member of CoL, and is yet again proving himself.

We would like to welcome Jeffka back. It seems that he lost the link to our forums. We did a lot of moving around and it threw a lot of people off. But none the less, welcome back Jeffka.

I will be away for about a week in Febuary, from about the 15th (leaving at about 4 in the morning, so I won\'t be on the 15th at all) on Febuary vacation. Kranle has been appointed temporary western legend until I return.

TO ALL DEVS:

If CB comes out while I am gone, you will have to answer to me! So DON\'T release it yet! :P

Anyway, back to CoL News. Some of you may have noticed that http://www.circleoflegends.tk is down. We are currently working on this problem.

Other site news, we are awaiting our new layout from our site designer and programmer Bedwyr. I will keep you posted on progress.

Until the problem is solved, be a smart boy (or girl) and go to http://circleoflegends.port5.com/main.htm instead. As you may see it\'s work in progress (actually it\'s an abandoned WIP, but we have a better one, the Bedwyr one :D).

It is my great honor to great the newest legend in out family. He has been a good companion to us all, being set as the second eastern legend, thus leveling the power between East and West in the Circle Of Legends.

Rise Fourth Skizzik and take your new title with honor. You deserve all the glory that comes with it. Congratulations.

Long Live the Circle Of Legends

He is not gone from PS, but the wait for CB has taken its toll on him. He longs for excitement. May he find it.
Title:
Post by: Sabrewulf on April 07, 2004, 02:52:42 am
Unfortunately it looks like quite a lot of ppl are dissapearing.Crj is the first official release. Many ppl have gone waaaaay inactive ..just cuz of the long CB release. It is unfortunate to lose any member but quite expected as there have been quite a few developmental games already transfering into their beta stages sooner than PS has even gone 1st alpha. The long wait is taking its toll on many ppl.

CoL would like to welcome its newest member, Canibis. Although I know very little about him, Sabrewulf and Skizzik are familiar with him from other MMORPGs
Title:
Post by: Dameon on April 13, 2004, 04:06:57 am
Well, it was brought to our attention by Sabrewulf that the Circle of Legends was formed in March of 2003. Well, its now April of 2004.

The Circle of Legends is now officially one year old. From the very beginning, we have based ourselves on trust and friendship with full intentions of thriving in the world of Planeshift. One year older, one year wizer, and I can safely say that we have stayed true to our goals and with the refreshed vigor of a new year, we look foreward to continue as we have.

I personally would like to thank all for the friendship that the PS community has showed with special thanks to Kada El, Half Pint, Devoted, and Windwalker. Others that are in need of thanks are Seperot (guess you could be called a religious rogue :D), Zeus, The Blitzers Guild, The Arcane Order, the Crimson Order, the PS development and moderator team... aw heck. The list could go on and on (Sorry if I missed anyone).

However, my heart truly goes out to our loyal members. Without you guys, there would be no Circle. Every last one of you have earned every ounce of my respect. I am honored to call you guildmates and mostly my friends. Also, to Sabrewulf, for the friendship and trust you gave to me when I first joined Planeshift. You, my friend, have no equal in my eyes.

Long Live The Circle of Legends, and may many more months and years of prosperity be blessed upon us.

Welcome to the guild Mix!  :D

*Thinks really really hard*

Ouch, Savion\'s brain hurts...

Umm, yea.....I am realllly late here, but gratz on the one-year mark CoL!!! Seems like more and more guilds are hitting it lately. Hmm, only 3 more months(about) \'til Blitzers reach a year. It really flew by, eh? Well, it is good to see that CoL is gaining members and not losing them. :P

EDIT: Hmm, Savion is back too. :P Bah!

Title:

How did I seem upset? I said \"Ok, I miscounted...\" I didn\'t say, \"WTF?!?! I am not wrong and never will be!!!\" That would be a bit upset...

And you won\'t let the \"mass recruiting\" go will ya? Well, we don\'t \"mass recruit\" anymore and we might not again, but who knows. But, like you said...

Heya CoL. Sry for spamming this little section of your thread, but I had to clear something up. You shouldn\'t be mad cuz I am apologizing. ;) Anyways, the twix/mix guy. He been around here yet?
Title:

Not many members come by these forums. And about the spam, its ok. Just try not to let it happen much :P.

I wish I had news from CoL, but there really is none. We are all bored waiting for CB. You will see me ingame somtimes, but not much. Hurry up devs :P. J/k. I know its not easy developing a game.

No, it\'s just that I have learned to be cautious and not take everything personally. Or maybe I have been around Grakrim too long and he rubbed off on me. :P But, I never was a good aligned man. Everyone seems to think that for some reason, but I was neutral. ;)

Hmmm, for some reason I can\'t get your site to work.  It doesn\'t load..  I\'ve tried Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, and IE, nope, nada (Yes, I have all 3 of those browsers on my computer).  Any clue?

And for the whole Faldie thing... bah, I don\'t get it!  You can see how 2 months ago Sep and Faldie were sniping at each other, and now Faldie is in Sep\'s guild?  Huh???  But Blitzers are now closer and closer to reaching the one year mark!

Btw, do you guys have around 55 members?  \'Cause that is a mighty big number... close to the Blitzers actually.
Title:
Post by: Dameon on July 29, 2004, 02:28:44 am
We did have 55, but that is no where near the amount of active members.

Also, don\'t worry about the site. Its unfinished, awaiting a new layout.

Title:
Post by: Levski on September 13, 2004, 11:10:42 pm
Maybe you should make a new thread for your guild... maybe your goals and structure has changed a bit?

Anyways, longest Blitzers thread, out of like 3-4 has at most 4 pages...
Title:
Post by: Dameon on September 20, 2004, 07:40:10 pm
Nope, the guild is pretty much the same as it started. We still have the same sections and no major public changes to be reported. If its not broke, why fix it? We seemed to have done it right the first time :D.

We are still on top of whats goin on here.We have been inactive ingame as you can all tell but the guild is operational. We have been testing our structures, plans, rules and all guild related biz in other games to weed out bugs in our policies and gov\'t structures. We are sure we have a working system ready and will be more than ready to institute it into PS and rejoin on a regular basis. The websites are being reconstructed, our boards are being revamped.Sorry if we have been a little too busy making the guild work to actually show our faces all the time here. But we are and always will be dedicated to this game.

OK COL has gotten itself a guild related email addy thx to Skizzik. Any applications, guild request, correspondances, etc. related to COL and planeshift can now be emailed and directed to   circleoflegends@gmail.com  Please remeber though that hiring is on hold until CBs release to ensure activity and to avoid the usual problems associated with a long release date. You can apply if you want and i will review the applications, and keep them on file but actual hiring will wait until after the release.

Ok 1st of all it wasnt a useless bump as you seem to think it is.Excuse us for editing previous posts rather than making useless replies toward an old post.If you had read the edit you would have noticed that more information was added regarding applications because I still am recieving them and I just wanted to reiterate that our hiring was on hold. This was to let people know ahead of time to allow them to skip over us for someone that was currently hiring.Excuse me for not making more than 1 unneccessary thread regarding the guild and actually use the original one as intended.
Title:
Post by: windwalker on November 02, 2004, 05:42:55 am

Post by: Dameon on November 04, 2004, 02:44:04 am
Ok, lets not turn this into a flamewar please. Then people will really think that we are desperate for posts.

The guild is international so to make it run 24/7 we set up a government structure that allow 4 people to run the guild.West are people in North America,South America basically GMT-2 to GMT-12.East is the other way. It is our way of keeping track of who is from what area so that members know  where to look for guidance. An asian player sure cant get it from me if I am sleeping :)

We are currently in a friendly skirmish with \"The Core\" to test the ins and outs of the guild war system.
It has already pointed out some bugs and -besides some griefers like Abe- it has been fun.
Title:

I visited your site a month or so back, and was impressed with it. I decided to revisit your thread today and read all the posts. I have found all the members of Legends of Circles to be very nice people, at least the ones I know.
Forgive Abe for being overexcited about the guild wars, he is really a good guy once you get to know him. I am sure he did not realize that he was griefing anyone, as I did not know he was, or I would have said something to him.

As always, I wish your guild the best.

Due to the fact that the PS GM system is totally nerfed and we have had just about enough of the powertrips and the newbs giving us crap and changing our names COL has decided to leave Planeshift to its destruction from a bad community. We are searching for another game.COL will no longer put up with the newb Dev dictatorship and will be moving on to something better when discovered.COL will no longer accept applications regarding Planeshift membership. The website will now go under construction (when we have time) to include ALL games COL is currently active in.We have been faithful to this development for 2.5 years and are sorry to see such a bad turn. But we cannot tolerate this anymore and it does nothing but aggravate instead of letting us have fun and a little freedom.

Oh god, so much memories with you. Sorry, I\'m not exactly in the mood to say these words, I just finished highschool today, lot of tears ufff...

But I\'ll say them anyway. I\'ll be a bit dramatic, and I\'ll say you\'re one of the few guilds that stayed in my heart. Oh yeah, Circle of Legends forever mate! We had our bad moments, but yep, we also had our good ones. Both are to be remembered, and yep, I\'ll practically \"kill\" you if you\'ll abandon Planeshift, or your friends around.

I\'ll just say, for now, Farewell Sabrewulf.

Such talk saddens me.  PS is in a time where we need people in the community who care. All this shows is that you aren\'t up to the challenge.  Takeing the easy way out isn\'t what I call honorable.  I know I\'m talking a bit more strongly than I usually do and understand I may be flamed for these comments, but this stuff bothers me to no end.  When things take a turn you don\'t like, don\'t say you hate the system and cop out.  Work to change it.   I\'ve seen many good things happening in PS of late, and see much promise and potential.  The people who are new now won\'t be forever, although there will always be new people. Such is the cost of fame, and PS is growing quickly.  If the strong leave in the wake of such events then it shows they were never truely strong - just posers.  I\'ll never leave planeshift no matter what. I may take breaks, be inactive at times but never leave.  I believe in the PS community and I see it can be a wonderful thing but not with people with such negative pessemistic views.

You know where to find us:) especially me. We are around just not here anymore. And thank you the honor has been hours./me bows

To Induane your point is taken and as we have been here to try the biggest problem is that we have tried to change it but certain people are set in their ways to just ignore it.And with that this game has not been fun anymore..just plain aggravating. We want to go somewhere fun not get aggravated everytime some new rule is implemeted or in the latest, names being changed yet again because it doesnt fit someones idea of roleplay. The biggest issue is that we are being told how to play and we dont like it..we would like to play by how WE feel the characters are supposed to ..not someone elses opinion. So we choose to move on to a place that may let us play as we intended to when we started.

I know exactly what you mean - it can be frustrating, agrivating, even ludacris at times.  Some things seem completely arbitrary, others just like a bad idea.  I trust that much of this will be fixed in the future though.  PS is just going through a transitional phase, a crucible if you will.  The strong will come out the otherside alright, the weak will dissappear forever.

PS Sorry to get so duney :)

That is what you choose to do.
Personaly I think that PlaneShift is beyond rescue, but hopefully COL leaving will send out a signal. If anyone cares, that is.
It\'s honorable that you choose to stay, but I for one, will not stay in a place where I don\'t feel at home.
I wish you good luck in restoring PlaneShift to its former glory, but you will run into some very thick heads on your way. You can\'t fight a \"We are always right\"-attitude.

So I say goodbye to those that care, not the ones that all turned into hypocrits and general *ssholes.

Goodbye Annah, even though we\'ve had our run-ins (especially with Linx, that little warmonger :P), I\'m glad to see not everything has changed for the worse around here.

Saddens me to see all of my former role playing friends, and one of the most truely influential guilds ever to exist be leaving. If they arent up to the challenge, then ill have to say that we dont need them. im staying in ps because i love the cause, and what remains of the former role playing community. I dont understand why Skizzik has been flaming moogie, who i personally find to be a delightful person. i hope that the rest of the community does not leave, because i need you guys :(. i have the feeling that cb is the decline of planeshift.  Planeshift once had a great community. we roleplayed, we were all friends. Gm\'s held hands with the players. Now this is gone. Gm\'s are running back and forth simply banning people, changing names, never having the opportunity to roleplay. Gm\'s with names like  Tmed arent encouraging role playing!. if you want a roleplaying game, those of authority have to roleplay aswell. Where you get the idea that Moogie is a power hungry moderator, i do not know. what, did she delete one of your posts? I feel that by leaving ps, you are abandoning us, and the rest of the community that simply needs your help. Thats all i have to say. if you choose to leave, farewell and i will miss you. if you stay, then i feel you are helping our community. if you choose to leave, you are making it worse. far worse.

Well I used to respect and like Mogura as well. After the last few PMs I\'ve had with her and after seeing her \"these guilds suck!\"-thread, my opinion has drastically changed though.

I, for one, will not help a community that does not wish to be helped. A community moderated by people that make at least one personal insult or attack in each PM they send me. That is why I say goodbye, not only as a member of COL, but also as a former member of the Planeshift community.

Is this supposed to be making it all better? if this is the stuff you say to her then no wonder she doesnt like you. I dont know who started it, but i have yet to see proof of her abuse

That, milady, is a private conversation between me and Naitachal, and you have no right posting that here.
Mind taking it off, right now?

*edit* Thank you, why was Naitachal sending you that in the 1st place...

*shrug* No loss. Anyone who makes a post shouting out how the community is dead/dying etc. has no place here. They\'re just making things worse. From what I\'ve seen you\'ve overreacted a lot. I talk with players and find out what things they think are bad with the game, and then try and correct the problems. I (and other devs) don\'t respond to people making dramatic posts of dispair. Things such as naming rules can be altered to suit a wider audience if there\'s demand for it, which there obviously is and we will adjust it suitably. People joining an IRC channel, shouting abuse(Of any kind) at people and then leaving because they aren\'t happy won\'t change anything.

btw, I suppose I should tell you that I\'ve got a spy in your guild, since.... well for quite some time :P It\'s up to you to find out who though. ;)

Now this peaks my interest..why  would a high level dev need to put a spy in COL..makes me wonder what they were afraid of to even warrant a real dev\'s interest into putting a spy into here. Now THIS is fun.

Forgetting who ran this guild of spies, villians and other dastardly folk for over a year? :D I still have spies in many guilds from those days of glory :P
