On http://www.planeshift.it/download.html there are 4 links to torrent files, with v0.4.00 in the name. Those are the only ones working at the moment (the mac one not yet). Using bittorrent makes it possible to give the files to more people quickly. My download went to over 300kb/s soon.
I am now downloading all versions to speed it up for even more people.

linux torrent (Planeshift-v0.4.00-x86.bin) downloads for me - thanks for seeding=)
EDIT:
since the DL-rate fell from 390 to 40kb/s soon I presume some people noticed now xD
-
My download is not ready yet (86%), but I uploaded more than a GB already. Feels nice beeing in a university net, not having ADSL.
PS:
AsynchronousDSL practically means, that you can download fast, but your upload sucks.

Which means you have to keep seeding after the download finished. I seeded over 150Gb at 50kb/s since september:)

You really should keep seeding in both cases as long as there are lots of people downloading. If you have a flat rate, there is no inconvenience for you really.
I will stop seeding after a while and start seeding again after some days because I kind of get punished here, when I upload more than 2 GiB a day or 15 a week.. But by that time I will have uploaded the client to 5 people (virtually speaking).
EDIT:
done. Now I am a seeder :-)

I'm seeding aswelll.
BTW if you still see the old torrents remember to refresh the page. Apparently much of it is simply stored if you checked earlier if it was already on the site :P
-
Yep coming down here at about 200kbps, I will keep seeding for about a week myself.

I have been downloading via Bittorrent since it was first available and it's only at 1%. It's been what 6 or 7 hours now. it should be done shouldn't it? I know I can download the HTTP in about 30 seconds. When will that one be available?

Sounds like some sort of an issue with your torrent client, mine will be finished in 10 minutes, still coming down at 200kbps uploeading at 10kbps, only about 20 minutes altogether.

If you mean the direct download from a server via HTTP: that is already available. Just click the download links. In the table it says 0.3.020 but the links are new already.
Actually it should work really good via torrent, too. I had to stop mine for today because I was close to my limit, but I hope the flatrate users didn't. For which plattform do you download? Linux or Windows, x86 or x64?
-
Well for some reason my torrent is not working. (I think it's the Windows XP service pack 2 half open line bug.) Anyways the http links under windows though are not working at all atleast for me.
I click internode and it takes me to another website, I try and download it from there and it sends me to a blank page.
I click PS international community and it gives me a 404 not found.
I click Xordan and it gives me about, you have reached your download limit for this file (but it has always said that for me. I've never gotten a download from it.)
I click Reisinger and I get Object not found
and When I click Stacken I get 550 failed to change directory.
So as far as I can tell none of those problems are on my end.
