Title: version 4.0 wont work at all on my vista

when i click on planeshift it opens a box then says planeshift.exe has stoped working it does the same for the updater here is the list of problems encounterd
for the plane shift game:

i anyone knows how to solve this please help im running on windows vista and dont have xp anymore

It works fine on my Vista Ultimiate 64bit.

Two ways to try to fix it.

1) right click on shortcut, go to properties/compatiabilty and select the bos downt he bottomt hat says "run this program as an administrator"

2) uninstall - re-install but change the default install path to c:\planeshoft steel blue instead of c:\program files\planshift steel blue

ok done that it loads now but keeps saying cannot connect to server but i can see the server running at between 300-400 wats up with that and how do i solve it

You wait and keep trying, I have been on twice for about 5 minutes each time today but it keeps crashing, I am sure it will stabilise soon.

Just run the updater like the sticky thread at the top of the forum tells you to (as admin) and it will update your client and solve the issue (the initial crash).

this upgrades terible lol you cant get in or it keeps crashing and on top of that they did it over a weekend so noone coud go on

The teams have jobs and/or school to go to during week. I'ld rather they fix the issues carefully than be pressed into providing dubious fixes/hacks. Let them work the issues through meanwhile.  Be patient.

ye i supose your right i wonder if the reason things are a little dodgey is because they dont have a very good sponser
