Title: Updater constantly crashes

I've installed the  client for the first time tonight and when I try to enter, Fragnetics says "fail".  Everything I read says that I have to run the updater before it will work, but when I run the updater it crashes.  It runs for a second and says updates have been found and then I get an error and the whole thing just crashes.  Anyone know what I can do?

I'm running Windows XP, no firewall or antivirus software.

As always, posting the error you get will be of much help when figuring out what's wrong. People aren't psychics :]

Try running the update as admin (right click, run as...)

i bet that computer is full of viruses and spyware if there are no antivirus software and that will in general make a computer very unstable
