According to the high law XXXVI
[...] pollution, therefore, is a grievous crime against our neighbors. Any person or group caught improperly disposing of waste materials shall be guilty of a high crime and subject to the true death.
When I think of how many people drop slags, animal parts and other items, a very careful estimation would be that at least half of the currently active Planeshift players would have their chars deleted, while according to the low law XXVIII
Kidnapping when not at war is illegal.
this crime would only be punished by banishing the person.
So dropping a slag at the furnace will be punished harder than kidnapping a person. Will this eventually be done? The slags for example carry the name of their creators... :P

XXXVIV. No person shall be permitted to conduct necromantic arts or toy with the bodies of the dead in such a way as to cause the true death or torment the soul of any person protected by the Octarchy in life. Further, to prevent the manipulation of the deceased and avoid the spread of infection, entering a burial well is expressly prohibited and punishable by banishment.
Umm according to that law...everyone that entered the cave on BD road one should be bannashied. because thats the burial well.

I am not gonna haggle with you.
-
Hmm, well... haggling was not what I actually wanted, XilliX. I wanted to point out that pollution is a higher crime than even kidnapping.
So I advice everyone to not drop items on the ground anymore. If the Octarchs ever will find out... you know perma-death is no joke ;)
(I can't believe I am actually making towns cleaner... :P )

By pollution, I think they mean like dumping booze into the lake on the Sixth Level, to make it easier to barter with the Nolthrir.

Dunno, haven't tried yet...come to think of it, I believe the original idea was to make this action legal (http://qdb.ps-mc.com/?145) so we can find out.

I think the true crime is to waste liquor in this rude way. :P
