Title: Lighting the Darkness

Just curious if there are any merchants that sell torches or, if not, are there any plans to make torches available?

I think this would add even more realism and RP opportunities.

no movable light sources at this time.

they are planned and will be released eventually.

Wow, and to think that the last I heard on the subject, it was not even an option. I think people that say Planeshift is developing too slow just don't pay attention to how many things come along that at one time weren't even high on the list of things to do. *cough* Like chat bubbles *cough*  ;)

I don't even pay attention to the chat bubbles, but torches, whenever they come along, would be awesome (or w/e is used for movable light).

First work on ranged weapons, now this.  Lots of neat things in the works.

One other thing about torches I'm not sure has been discussed yet, is it's not just about getting torches ingame.  Right now we run and stand a certain way, regardless of what we are holding.  I would have to think torches would be most effective if held up.  So animation would have to be worked on to get that looking right.  Both for standing and running.   :sweatdrop:
