Title: Wiki pages for storywriting?
Post by: hook on March 31, 2003, 10:43:49 pm
ok, i know it\'s very fun using the forums for storywriting and it does give _A_LOT_ of ideas, but i was wondering what would you think of a Wiki page for the story.

for those (most!) who don\'t know wiki: it\'s a page that\'s completely open and EVERYONE can add and edit it ...it\'s got structure (that generates itself a bit)

it would be worth consideation...

check this out for more info: http://c2.com/cgi/wiki
and this for an example: http://www.wikipedia.org/

i dunno it sounded like a good idea :]

i mean, the forum is really nice since it\'s topic-oriented, but that can get a bit uncocherent, and i thought that wiki would be more cocherent, since everything is in the same place and everything can be actually changed, not only added ...i thought that would be great for the mail story

...well, it was just an idea :]

yeah, well,I still don\'t see your point...  I think the posts are fine here. I wouldn\'t want other people changing my posts anyway. You can edit your own, so if you need to change the past, you can.  I\'m sure there\'s alrady a Wiki forum for roleplaying, so you can join it if you want to, but I\'m staying here.
