Can anyone explain to me how to install the video add on for this game?
I found out on another string on the forum that advised its possible, but the details to install were sketchy and a bit too technical for me. I really want to make my own video for this. Is there code to add somewhere? If so, which file do I add it too?
Running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon.
Cheers

As I said (on the other thread) the best way involves compiling psclient yourself...which of course is a very loaded answer. But then again you're on Linux. Join the build channel on irc://irc.freenode.net/#planeshift-build to ask for help, and follow the compile guide (http://planeshift.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/planeshift/trunk/docs/compiling.html) to build your own psclient and all the Crystal Space plugins. Then simply load Crystal Space's movierecorder plugin (http://www.crystalspace3d.org/docs/online/manual/HOWTO-Recording-Movies.html) when you execute psclient on the command line to record video.

Since I once tried to compile PS with negligible success although several hurdles taken, xvidcap didnt do the job like I documented in "that other thread (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=32099.msg368863#msg368863)", and also I couldnt find a fraps version for linux - isnt there any tool available, preferably as a deb-package (Debian not *buntu!)?
I wouldnt even need fullscreen capturing..
