I doubt any of you remember me, maybe Xordan does, or some of the dev team... Poking my head back in and gettin in on some PS action for the first time in years. I read a post that said someone started when glyphs were implemented... hehe. Anyone remember Crystal Hunting?
Oh and here's a question to the dev team... is there any way I can get my game name back? Haha.

I actually haven't played the game much since the Crystal Blue release, and was very suprised to see Steel Blue was already out... so ya I'm sure a lot has changed. Sangwa's still around?

Hes a moderator... And runs the dark empire with an iron grip. The oldest guild around.

OH MAN, the dark empire is still around? Crazy. I might have to revive the Circle of Legends... probably should start a new character though haha.

Is the Circle of Legends older than the Dark Empire? Oh yeah and I remember crystal hunting.

Sabrewulf founded the Circle of Legends along with myself and one other, but he left the game before I really got to know him. Ya, its older than Dark Empire. I think it was us, the Arcane Order, and possibly the Explorers Guild... but I'm not sure. Oh man I saw the rise and fall of so many guilds... Ordo Illumanti, The Cabal, oh man I wish I could remember more of the names.

It was a guild run by Sabrewulf and I. Members included Bushie, Carnic, and like I said, a bunch of people I can't remember. Our goal, besides fending off evil and whatnot, was to have a hand in every facet of PS. We had 6 different sections that people could join, each covering a different aspect o what was going to be in the game.

Welcome back, Dameon :) If you ever did a name/email migration from MB, your character's name should still be attached to the account you used. Otherwise, I'd suggest you give Kerol a poke either by PM here or on IRC - he's the GM leader and can take a look at the situation for you.

Thanks :). I already made another character though. It says that my character name is reserved in the Database... does that mean they made me into an NPC? lol

That'd be quite an honor :P Unfortunately for now, all it means is that to use that character name, you have to use the same account (email address) you used during the migration and back in MB. Are you using a different one now?

Yup, and I don't remember the old one either. Its ok, like I said I made a new account and character. Thanks for the help though.

And i couldn't tell in the slightest whos guild was first, i remember best the Kadas list rder, and there DE was first? ;P
As to whos guild was first, maybe it was The Forsaken Ones?
CoL shouldn't leave just like that when the CB came out, being fully unsatisfied, do i remember right? ;)
And yes, it has been so many years already :o so many.

Ya I remember. Oh wow the Forsaken Ones, completely forgot about them. They actually hosed the CoL website for a while. Ya they might be older than CoL.
Around the time CB came out, I tried to start moving away from playing MMOs and tried to focus on real life more... but I miss them haha. Sabrewulf got upset because of the strict enforcement of the Roleplaying aspect I think. Good to see you're still around Nikodemus.

There always seems to be a CoL member returning. Can't say I remember you but, then again, CoL was starting to fall apart when I got into the game.
If I remember correctly though, from Kada's list, DE was the oldest guild (Not that it's conclusive evidence or anything :P )... There may have been one guild that was older... Pretty sure that AO and XG were after DE though...
Anyways, nice to see the return of a player. CoL members usually end up working with me, wonder if you will, aswell :P
I do remember Sabrewulf, though. Funny character.

Waylander, I think I saw you in the IRC a couple times. Ya maybe DE is the oldest, I can't remember anymore... Kada stopped playing right?

Much to everybody's disappointment. And that's possible, back then I was using a different nick daily :P So Waylander, Armeen, Cadoras or Nostra were all me.

Darn! For quite some time I have been running around calling Explorers the "second oldest active guild". You mean now I have to change that? ;)
XG was founded May 11, 2003. Which means soon we will have our anniversary and if anyone remembers last year's debacle, we are going to have it for sure this year. 8) But sorry... :offtopic:

Well technically, since CoL would be a more of a restart rather than the continuation of the old one, you can keep your title :P. I don't even know if I'm going to restart it again or not. Might not have the time to dedicate to it.

DE is definitely the oldest still standing guild. I think at the time it was surpassed by the guild of our favourite Romanian (you get bonus points for remembering). ;)

The only ones I remember from the old guilds are The Forsaken Ones, The Arcane Order, The Explorers, The Dark Empire, and the Circle of Legends.

One pretty old and still active guild shoulden't be underrestimated as well.... :D

Wow... this is my first time back here in a LONG time. It was quite surprising to see this thread. Anyone remember me? I started The Forsaken Ones. Me, Zeus/Demonlord, and Windwalker. Oh and Dameon, if you need hositng again, let me know. That same server is up, with COLs site and everything... the domain name is just down.
