How many times have you wanted to interpret a dermorian wizard or a dwarf fighter for real? With real, I mean (irl) with real clothes. Well, in my case it is quite often. If you share the same fun of creating costumes and cloths to represent fantasy characters, here is an opportunity to post pictures of you in such attire, because ...
... the PlaneShift cosplay contest is now started! :sorcerer:
If you want to learn a bit more about cosplay, read here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosplay), there are a lot of people doing this for famous games at local meetings (mainly Japan, but also other countries).
Rules for the contest!
1) Any playable character model or monster is valid (yes, you can try to look like a consumer)
2) You can interpret a specific NPC (Hanrquist, Brado, ...)
3) Putting clothes on your cat, so it looks like an enki can be fun and you can post it here, but will not be considered as a valid submission for the contest
4) The prize still has to be determined, but there will be one.
5) You can submit as many poses as you want, as many chars as you want
6) Editing of the picture is admitted only for the background, your figure, including all clothes and items should be a real picture, not retouched. Anyway real backgrounds are valued more.
7) If you are too shy, just put your hand open in front of your face, I'm sure you can find a good pose while covering your face, or a mask.
First tip: finding a nice location as the background improves the overall result, like an outdoor scene, a river side, a creepy dungeon, or similar. >o)
Second tip: pictures with multiple people are a plus!

Hmmm.... I do happen to have a pair of four foot wings that look strikingly similar to Klyros wings...

Hmm, an interesting proposition as well as sounding like a hell of a lot of fun in the process.
Count me in. Might take a while to tailor a tef suit... or maybe a rouge... but hey... either way I just love a challenge!. \\o//

Hmmmmmm, well if I can find the fixings for it, perhaps I can talk my daughter into being the model for a familiar pic ... maybe a yulbar .... groffel ..... we shall see. I will also look into how I can make an enki suit though I have a feeling that would be quite the challenge for someone with time issues (that'd be me :/). Meh ... worth giving it a try! It would be interesting to see what this contest brings out of our imagination as players.
