Ok here is my first attempt at 3D modeling, so I'm in need of comments/criticisms.
I give you, a fenki, with a very simple texture.

This is pretty good. Keep up the work.

If it is your first attempt, you have done great. The whole looks like quite high polycont. If so, you could work on details like fingers. I think her face is a bit too much rodent, unless it is supposed to be so ;P
-
lol she's not supposed to have a rodent head no. Maybe it I make her snout a bit shorter. As for the finger details, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the comments!

Update: I took Niko's advice and put more detail on her hand, will do the other hand just now :) Also I fixed her head a little. Comments!

Yay, I created a new model today \o/ I decided this time to spend much more time on the head. Ones again the texturing is simple. Before I start a new model I want to experiment with UV mapping and texturing.

/me hides where the big hand won't reach.

Are these wings or hands? ;D

Don't mock his hands! His father was a giant, and all he inherited from him was his hands... *whispers* he's a little sensitive about it.
/me goes to scale his hands down a little
-
No, no, leave the hands as they are. They add to the funny impression of this little fellow.

Its pretty standard practice to mirror the character so that both sides are equal. (unless you've already done that) That should save you some time :)
Looks great! :D

Yep, mac, I mirrored it now, and added a little detail to the head, here's the latest of my fenki.

Thanks for the feedback.

I like it.
The arms and especially the thighs look very natural in my oppinion.
Her left upper arm seems a little bit more muscular than the right one, but that might be the light or the texture. I'd probably remove the texture or try to get some better texture for it. I think the texture rather spoils the look of the good 3d-mesh.
Three things I'd try to change: (can't say if they'll actually improve it, without trying it myself)
-) lift the lowest part of the ears-opening a bit. (The edge of the ear and the head make a straight line, which would get a bend inwards)
-) broaden the face, especially the mouth and the eyes-part
-) make the lower-belly bend less strong
I don't know if those explanations help much, thus I tried to visualise what I mean:

Mrrauw!
Hmm, I think that if you widen the face, you only should widen the eye part (or upper part) Because a cat skull looks like this:

[umm.. anyone noticed what happened to my posts? they seem to have dissapeared since i was last on.]
Anyway, altogether these models are good. Maybe even good enough for a smiley (is that how you spell it?) and a half  :thu (and half an m)
