Er... correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen nowhere a picture or a description of the Rivnaks (I've searched this forum and the background on the site)
-
Try "Selected Beasts of Yliakum Volume 2" in the in-game library for a description of rivnaks.
-
Don't you have any pictures? The description isn't very... descriptive. ???
-
There is some internal concept art. I'll ask to see if we can show the public yet or if we're gonna keep it under wraps for now. After all, showing off rivnaks means opening up potential discussion of when players get mounts, and the thread will quickly get locked.
Edit: I asked. Was told to keep it under wraps. For now, if you want to make some fan art, use your imagination. Work within the parameters of the description and fill in the rest using your mind. :)

Soooooo Jer, umm, I was kinda wondering, likkkkkkke, you know, whhhhhen we gonna get mounts?
:P

Ask in the wish list thread. See what happens.
Oh, wait, you're a mod. Never mind.
[mod's edit: done and done. :P --neko]

My interpretation:

Colorful llamas ftw!!
-
I didn't picture them quite so shaggy...
-
Colorful llamas ftw!!
If you read the rivnak description, you'd see that it very well could be interpreted as a colourful llama-like creature. So in that regard, Zweitholou did pretty well.

Thx Jeraphon.
Llamas are good at running on rocky terrain and can be shaggy. While their frame is not built to hold a rider, they're related to camels, which are used as mounts and in races. That's why I based them on shaggy camel-llamas. ;)
XD, that song goes on and on and on...
-
lol they are sick!!!! we need to be able to buy them for riding!
but probably with a kind of stable set up so you can't just leave them, or a thing where they can be stolen as a smack in the face to anyone silly enough to leave them in the street, but still, they are cool!

I'll rather have a pack Rivak, rather than one to ride. or maybe both? Yep, both sounds good too me.
Are they meant to be common animals? maybe I should go read that book...
