Hey Im having some problems with some Graphics.
For Example the sign posts are in the right shape but are multi-colored. red green black blue .
My OS is Windows XP.
ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro Graphics card
3 GB ram
2 GHz processsor.
I also see some of the same problems in the minning area just outside of Hydlaa. where you can buy Glyphs. Please let me know what i can do if anything....

The colorful checkerboard pattern is displayed whenever, for whatever reason, the proper texture is not loaded. It is quite common and you will get used to seeing it.
-
Have you run the updater? If I remember correctly it holds a fix for the borked sign posts.
-
Well i did the updater... i dont know why i didnt think of that. But now i have to wait to see if it worked because the curse the death lady put on me halved all my stats. so now i have no strength to walk
Ok just found out that the updater worked for the Sign Posts.... but in the Hydlaa forest. I still see it like. Everywhere. for the grass or rocks ithink they should be.
Indeed. Im sorry to say it didnt fix all of the checkerboard spots. the entire Hydlaa Forest is full of them. I think they should be grass or rocks. but the ones in the city load fine. I dont know what the problem is.

Im sorry to double post but i need this back at the top. The updater fixed the signs. but the Forest is still filled with Checkerboards. Any other ideas?

I believe everyone has the checkerboard problem, and it is known about. Sometimes everything loads fine, other times nothing seems to load right (in my experience anyway).

Hydlaa forest road always had that problem for me (especially the grass patches). It happens when you enter the forest from another map. There is something with re-use of textures that goes wrong. If you log off in the forest and then back in, it will probably look good.
This is a known bug. Caching and re-use of textures is changing in the code constantly, and hopefully one day the problem will just have disappeared :)

well thanks guys atleast my worries have been put down to rest. I upgraded everything on my computer. RAM and Graphics card. (the 2 most important things in games) and ofcourse the processor from 1.5 ghz to 2.0. i thought last time it was my system so i did all of that. but if everyone has this problem then. YAY.
I appreciate it.
