Title: Is it possible to found your own religion?

I am wondering if i can found my own religion?
ive read about religions here, and im wondering about founding one with buddhist ideologies
i know i couldnt incorporate real-life buddhist ideologies, but i mean things like karma, peace, things like that.

I guess you can interpret religion your own way but you can't make up gods. I'd suggest you try to stick to the settings and create a character with their own understanding of the existing religions.

You can make up your own religions. You can also find yourself ridiculed, ignored, arrested, and possibly even executed.
My advice: Pick Talad or Xiosia as your god(dess) of choice and make up a splinter group that believes in worshiping him/her with 'buddhist ideologies'. Xiosia may be a good bet, as her worship is very new and has not yet settled into a firm set of beliefs. Her followers range from 'Flower power hippies' to 'murderous nature crusaders'.
