Title: Connection from outside or inside

Well, perhaps this is not a newbie question but in fact i try to start this game only since today\'s morning.
So my question is:
Is the connention set up from the PC running the client or does the client just send a request and the server sets up the conection?

Not totally sure what you are asking here....

When you login the client sends a message to the server that you are connecting.  The server then checks that info and sees if you are a valid client.  

Once that is done the client and server communicate ( using UDP packets ) info all the time like weather conditions, current players positions etc.
