I've gotten past the "missing file" in system32... Which took me a while to figure it out; (find the forums and where to look for answers).
However now that that's been fixed, I'm experience a "stick" or "freeze" in the loading of the game. Right after clicking the icon on my desktop the game opens up to load and half way through it stops. It will sit there for a good couple of minutes before I get so frustrated with it I shut it down and try to restart the game. This fixed the first "freeze"/"stick" I had in the first load but this last one doesn't seem to want to "refresh" as some others had put it...
I don't know what else to do? I don't have a firewall, it's being blocked. I've let it sit for a good 20-30 minutes now and no progress! I've never played this game before I'd really like to give it a try! Someone help!!! :sweatdrop:
EDIT: I'm running Windows Xp with atleast minimum system requirements.

Someone's probably going to ask for system specs and operating system, so you should include that.

I don't know what else one might need/want to know. But it's been over an hour now waiting on this load and still no progress.... :'(

I take you don't even reach the login form, you get stuck in the title screen (the fields with the castle)?
I had that too. I think I ran the updater and it worked since.

Uninstall the game, and then re-install it, fix the updater file and run the updater. That worked for me.

Had that myself yesterday, what worked for me was to go to the planeshift setup and toggle the map loading and pre-modell loading off. Once I did that, it worked good for me, loaded straight through and got me to the login screen. Everytime I toggle the "Load all maps" and "Preload models" again, the loading stops half-way so I advice not to do that. :thumbup:
