Title: Planeshift + Lego
Post by: Gohra on July 12, 2008, 07:59:52 pm
Some other kind of Fanart: A Gallery of self-made "faked" Lego Planeshift Sets. But Listen! These products dont exist really and will never exist because i dont owe any rights. Not all things existing exactly ingame yet, some are just ideas, what could fit into the PS World. So enjoy!  ;D

4105 Smithstore Gohra Nir
My fictious smithstore including a Hydlaan Guard and a topas Kran in chainmail armor

4201 Ulbernaut Battle at mysterious ruins
A Diaboli in Chainmail with golden shield and short sword fights an Ulbernaut at Bronze Door Road ruins.

4202 Dwarves at Kada'el
Some dwarves and a Dermorian Woman drinking beer at the Kada'el Tavern

4205 Megaras Cargo transport
Its my personal idea how a Megaras (giant bat) could look like. Here its carrying a transportplatform on his back and uses also a big cargo cage. It's rided by a Ylian. Includes also a Klyros and a Granit Kran
(http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/14245/1217072949_DISPLAY.jpg)

4206 Bronze Doors Fortress "The Lion"
This Bronze Door Version doesnt exist in Setting, thats why i called it "The Lion". So it's just one possible idea how a fortress at end of Yliakum could look like. It includes Kran, Klyros, Diaboli, Dwarven and Dermorian Guards of the sunshine squadron with different weapons, an Ulbernaut, a catapult and a trapdoor just behind the big gates.

Gohra, you should apply for a job at lego!  With this on your resume, how could they not hire you?  And maybe then we'd get our PS lego sets :)  Brilliant!

Hello again,
first thank you for all your comments and reactions. It's long time ago, when i created these simple "fake-sets" an i hadn't mucht time to continue the work at this series this year. But for 2009 i'm planning some new creations and with additional improved graphic skills and ideas i hope the new things will look a huge step better. For now, i ask you all for ideas, what planeshift stuff could/should be made with Lego next. If anyone has a good and possible idea (e.g. i won't find enough bricks to build the Laanx temple) i maybe will build it soon.
At last, a small preview for the upcoming 09 Lego Planeshift series:

Such images are possibly just linked due to the image dimensions (the moderators of this board do not wish to have image-filled threads to save bandwidth for people with low-bandwidth connections, or wide images which would force users with smaller screen resolutions to scroll horizontally).
__

But you are not the only one who cannot see the pages now. These links are probably outdated, maybe removed from the server.

I never have enough of those specific lego parts to be able to create things like this, though congrads on the wonderful lego creation, i could never do it  :woot:
