Title: User active in the last 15 minutes

Can this be extended? It is nice to see who is on the forums and 15 minutes is such a short time that I am sure I miss people because I can’t log in every 15 minutes.

I am just asking so please do not be mad at me for doing so.

Why is it nice to see who is in the forum? I mean, this is not a chat application or something. I have asked some people why they are using the hidden status when in a forum and the response was that they didn't want to be disturbed. That really made me wonder why someone would disturb a forum user when he sees that he is online...which brings me back to question.

oh, I do send PM's to people here. It is a feature of the forum and I use it. Mostly I like it when I see people looking at the forums that I know. I always hope that they are well. Is there anything wrong with that? If a friend sends me a PM I am happy to hear from them and respond in turn, even if it is only to welcome someone back from holiday. After all these years I feel some of these people are my 'friends'.

If someone wishes not to be disturbed then they will tell me, but it has yet to happen. They can always sign on as a guest so no one sees them also.

I think 15 minutes are ok since if you don't catch them online they will read your PM once they get on again. And sometimes people don't logout  (for example, I don't) so it will appear as they were online when they are not.

Good point Waven and very smart of you. Still I would like to see a 30 minute time setting rather then 15 minutes.

Not true, actually. You'll only appear at the bottom if you've actually browsed any forum in the last 15 min. Logging in forever simply means you don't have to input your password again.
