Title: CHATROOM

the chat room for planeshift is very helpful, often mods are there to answer ur questions, and u can have a conversation much easier this way.  ill u have to do is go to mIRC (http://www.mirc.com) and then download it, and then after connecting, u type, /join #planeshift  

and thats all u have to do:)

alot of people dotn kow how to use Mirc..........but it would help them if u told them whut server.....

ok mirc one 101

once its installed and running... click on the icon of a folder next tot eh lighting bolt this wil bring up the Mirc setup window...

click on teh \"add\" button and enter the relevant info about teh server you want to connect to in this case..


Description: Planehift Fan channel
IRC server: irc.gamesnet.net
port: 6667

then click on Ok

then select this new server entry you made from teh pull down list if it isnt already and click OK...

then click the little Lightning bolt icon in teh menu and it will begin to connect tot eh server. once its finnished a window should pop up with a list of channel names...

if it doesnt click on teh icon that looks like a folder with a hash symbol on it its about 2 icons over from teh \"Mirc setup\" icon. type #planeshift  in the text feild at teh top and hit add... this will add the channel name tot eh list.

Scroll down tot the channel name you made int eh list and double click it.. you should then enter the channel adn find the rest of us there ^^...

good luck... dependant on how Mirc is confiqured the Setup window might auto open on running Mirc or it might auto connect to its defualt server... inwhich case hit the lighting bolt icon which changes to a funny cable icon when your connected to disconnect it and then open then choose the right server... my version of Mirc is rather old so some changes might have happened to teh layout but it should still work just teh same.
