Title: Performance question
Post by: kicker04 on July 19, 2008, 09:18:16 pm
The game runs almost perfectly on my computer without glitches or stuff, but if I enter the Arena area infront of the big hall the application almost kills itself and sometimes crashes completely. Is this space so much more complex as the rest of the world or what is the reason?

not really just wondering but have you updated the game?

yeah, its the newest version. Maybe its cause i'm using a mac. Maybe it has something to do with this: As I entered the area infront of the huge white hall (at the arena), I fall under the ground, it is difficult to describe. It seemed like there was a hole between the two areas through which I fall down. Then after a few seconds the computer said something like that it resetted my position and I was back on ground again. There is also another point where that happenes to me. If I stand on this position: 480.9 / 0.5 / -146.5 hyoja2b and want to go a few meters forward to -633.8 / 13.4 / 421 ojaroad1 I fall always into a hole. I think the problem is a difference in height between the two areas. From one of the two positions I can see under the land infront. And then I fall through this hole and now I'm under the ground. Its a real strange bug, but very heavy.

Is that a patch? I don't quite understand that. Does it fix the bug? How shall I install it?

It's not a patch (yet) kicker04.

The problem you described is already in the bugtracker.
That means it is known and being worked on, but not
solved yet.
