Title: Every time I login my character freezes right after I move.

I can login perfectly and everything works fine if I don't move... but then right when I move it freezes and I have to force quit.
Its been working fine for 3 days though so I don't see why it isn't now. And when I run the updater, the updater quits instantly, I think this means I don't need any updates.
I'm running on a Macbook with MacosX 10.5.4, 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 GB 667 MHz.

what graphics card do you have? What map are you trying to load?

The updater must wait for you to press "Enter". Check if the updaterinfo.xml hasn't changed to updaterinfo.xml.bak for some reason. It has happened to me. If this is the case, rename it back to normal and try running the updater again. I don't know about the game crash but let's sort out the updater first.

Edit: Jeez, I have no idea about Mac so if there are no baks, just ignore this.

Its a GMA X3100 and its the coal mine map with the guy with the glyphs, Levrus I think. and I redownloaded the updater, deleted the original in my planeshift folder, and since the new updaterinfo.xml had .bak after it I renamed it. Ran the updater and now I'm gonna try to run planeshift... Hope it works  :-\

Now when I try to logon, it finishes loading and then this grey image comes up... and it freezes. Maybe I should just reinstall :'(

Ok... I just deleted planeshift and I'm reinstalling it!

open pssetup and put texture downsampling at 1/2 or further to the right and the game will no longer crash, i had to do that on my macbook with the same graphics card

Last night, before you told me that, I had to run out of the magic shop area, except that I had to relogon at least 20 times because everytime I took 3 steps it disconnected lol... Now I tried that and just went back into the magic shop area and its not bugging!! hooray. Thanks alot!
