Title: tried updating didnt fix

Okay after i FIXED the updater and updated it still cant find the openAL32.dll file. i also have tried re-installing the game that didint help either. Thanks in advanced!

i cant find any of the 4.0 downloads or are the 4.0 downloads the direct download links?

the 4.0 client will do you no good as it will not connect to the current server. you need to follow the directions in the link i posted last to run the updater.

I have a problem with the updater too (On the Mac). I got the correct updater info xml file, but when I try to use the updater it quits immediately saying it can't find any mirrors. I don't want to have to download the client again, since I'm currently stuck with dialup and it'll take forever. Please tell me there's another way...

Okay, I downloaded the replacement updater and the replacement xml file, but when I try to run that new updater it freezes at "downloading update file: 0%" according to the console, and the updater screen never comes up.
