Title: Ignore buttons!!!!!

Into everyone\'s life a little ignore must fall.  Whether it\'s the person shouting every five seconds about things that he or she could find the answer to in a few clicks, or the person online who thinks they\'re funny, or the self-righteous person who will tell everyone that they\'re doing everything entirely wrong and the game will totally SUCK if they don\'t play it their way.

Ah, the chat feature of MMORPG.

It\'s unfortunate that ignore features need to be implemented, but it does give a bit more control to a player.  I don\'t want to hear people shout text-speak to each other all over the zone.  I could be a total prat and tell them to shut up, but that never works - however, I can\'t ignore them either because there\'s no /shoutoff command.   Invariably, there\'s always at least one person sending constant unwanted tells, guild invites, or begs.

No, I\'m not pointing fingers - I\'d just like to have this implemented so that I can ignore what I choose to ignore.    There are some days I don\'t really want to talk, or I\'m concentrating on something else, or rping with a group.  Or if I\'m in a battle, the constant WTB shouts could be really irritating.

well, I think that would be a good feature....in general

But if you don\'t want to answer n00bie questions just ignore them...;)

For those ppl offending others, well I haven\'t met many so far, but yea, against those it would be a useful feature...8)

There should be added some key bindings, so I can shout easier...:D
I like some traffic in the chat box sometimes and since there are often just a few ppl in the game it would make communication way easier...;)

In Fact you should just be able to right on the chatters name  in the chat Window and pull down a property list.
Like Copy Name, Ignore, Buddy, Enemy, Invite to Guild or Group.

Yes, we will work on an improved feature for the chat window.  I will try to come up with a least of features that the chat window can have so people can see what is planned and make some suggestions.

There are always those annoying people who begin to follow me around and ask random unrelated questions. It just makes it that more amusing when you can\'t hear a single word they say...

I have yet to meet any very annoying people, but this is still a much needed feature. Nothing says \"piss off, kid\" like an ignore button.

I got told by one guy who was running around yelling how this game sucks: \"U juge sum1 by te way te tak?\" Its like \"YEAH.\" An ignore button would of been nice for him. :]
