I was chatting with Davikel, Vigesimi of Gugrontid, and he told me about an Observatory. As I am always looking to gather as much information as I can, this piqued my interest. However, when pressed for more information, he got rather offended and then started rambling about him needing to speak with Kerryk.
I can't find any other NPCs that know anything about this Observatory other than research is done there and information is collected and can apparently be read as well. The PCs I asked had no idea what I was talking about. Searching this forum for the term "Observatory" in this forum resulted in precious little information. Is the Observatory somewhere on the first level? (I'm not asking for directions or anything, just a hint as to whether or not it exists yet. ;))

Maybe I'm wrong here, but wasn't something like that in the Winch area?

I think Davikel might be referring to this (http://www.planeshift.it/images/telescope.jpg) - something the devs are working on, but I'm afraid it's not ingame yet.

You're probably right. Though I didn't write it down, I was fairly certain the word Davikel used was "Observatorium". The reason I changed it to "Observatory" was that "Observatorium" resulted on 0 hits on the search engine.
By the way, those drawings looks very nice. Hopefully there will be an appropriately sized library somewhere nearby? Perhaps underneath that spiral staricase? :)
