Segmentation fault
so I ran psclient in verbose mode to try and get some sort of usable error for the devs... and with
./psclient --verbose the game will load fine and run
* a little under whelming I know

Hi there, before we go further it's best to cover all the basic questions like have you run the updater? It seems strange that it will run in --verbose mode but not normally. Then again, I'm not a dev, so I wouldn't really know.
In any case, make sure you've run the updater and try again. Good luck!

odd as it seems, it works for me.
A little back history:
the game was working fine(ish) up untill now (yesterday)
ps is up to date
I have run ./psupdater --Checkintegrity and that said it's fine
