Title: GUI Menu reposition
Post by: Dreamcrafter on August 23, 2008, 10:53:01 pm
Somehow my menu for the GUI has gotten moved out of the corner and into an annoying 'floating' position.  Nothing I've tried will move it back where it belongs.  Can anyone help me figure out how to put it back?  (The problem is pictured below, in the upper left hand corner.)

Have you tried right-clicking on the green button on the top left corner of the menu bar?

Yes.  That toggles between different button layouts, but does not actually reposition the menu.

try left clicking on it dragging it in the process

Put the tip of your mouse exactly at the edge of a button. Imagine a line: if you click on the one side of it ("A" side), you press a button of the menu; if you click on the other side of it ("B" side), nothing happens. Now put the tip of your mouse on the "B" side, press the (for me) left mouse button, keep it down and drag. Position the menu to your liking and release the button.

Edit: (Yes, I'm crazy but I have just tested it IG and it works  ;D)
