Title: Bad Sound and Gfx

I just installed Planeshift on my iMac and everything was running smoothly until I got into the game and the mouse pointer and icons (in the game) were all pixelated and the sound was fluctuating and gapy (like someone was pausing and playing it very fast) , any help on what to do?

I have ran the updater and all my drivers and stuff are up to date

I have:

3.06Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme

4Gb Ram

1Tb HDD

Nvidia GeForce 8800 GS 512Mb

(sorry if this has been posted but I cannot find any help anywhere!!!!)

read README-osx and do the fix for texture compression

i think sound is just a general issue with some macs with no fix other then to turn it off.
