Title: the updated mac client is available via the updater.
Post by: Caarrie on August 28, 2008, 04:55:38 pm
Please run the updater to get the new mac client. you can not connect to the official server with the old client.
If you run into issues with some keys and the mouse check http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=31746.0

Yes the updater has no gui just run it as you have before. as far as i know there is no package to download for this update so follow the directions for the last client to update to get this one.

Still same PPC problems it seems. I ran the updater successfully to get 4.02 but client crashes on start up. I had this problem before when trying to update 4.01 so reverted to my original mirror download and live with the bugs. Now I cannot use 4.01 and cannot start 4.02. i presume that the PPC issues are unresolved in 4.02.

Eurac shrugs, "I am a patient dwarve".

off hand i dont see anything there that helps :( you could try installing ps in another folder and running the updater and see if that helps any.
