Title: Can't seem to start the game

Hi everyone, first time here.

Well, I've downloaded everything, did all the manual work to put it running, and then I launched the client. When I start to build my character it sais the server is down and try again in 5 minutes. And this keeps happening and doesn't let me finnish the character criation...

What's going on?

What's your internet connection? A broadband connection is recommended here (http://www.planeshift.it/about.html) (scroll down to the end of the page).

Ah, and just in case you are connected with a wireless lan to your router, try to move a bit closer to the router (Or move all things out of the way ;))

Thanks a lot for the answers mates :thumbup:

Anyway, my internet connection is very good (and expensive), and I play a lot Diablo2 on Battle.net, so I don't think it is a problem.

And although I have a wireless router, this pc is connected to it by lan cable. And I opened port 7777 so the game could be accessed.

I'll give one more try to build my character and enter the game :)

Ok, for some unknown reason I just had to restart my computer and everything seems to be ok :-\

Just finnished character building and now it's learning time.
