Title: Ruining Jirosh
Post by: Shaman on October 04, 2008, 04:13:40 am
In the second quest given by Gurgus (once again, trying to keep from spoiling too much), there's a hint of another path to take for the quest where you could have Jirosh's license taken away from him. However, it doesn't let you go that far, because saying "no" simply has him get down on his knees and plea for you to help him. It doesn't go any further than that; you're forced to help him, pretty much. Just like what was done for the Black Flame quests, it'd be nice if we could ruin his life by not helping him, and even ruining his friendship with Gurgus and his overall reputation as a merchant (since this is a family business). It'd make a pretty big impact, I think.

This doesn't really seem like an issue, Caarie. As I understand it, Shaman wants players to have options in this and similar quests to "play the bad guy", or at least have the option the quest is hinting at (ruining Jirosh's reputation, etc).

I have contacted the Settings Team and will edit the sticky regarding these types of requests with as to where they would prefer them to be made once they get back to me.
