Are any of these terms really accepted by settings, or are they just player-made slang?
-
Dev made slang, actually.
And they are commonly accepted in RP, and I think some npcs use the term. Though most enkidukai say 'tabbey' instead of enki, fenki, or menki.
-
Tabbey? Or Tabei? Can't remember... On the subject of Enkis, what do they call their young? I've seen players call them cubs, kits, and pups.
-
Enkien:
dhavathu - young, new, inexperienced
dira - child/baby/infant
dipada - son
diraba - daughter
"Tabei" means "trusted friend". "Menki" and "fenki" are marked as "common slang" in the dictionary (http://pswiki.xordan.com/index.php/Enkidukai_Language/Vocabulary). The corresponding enkien words are "enkidukol" and "enkiduyba".

Krylos call us furry furs :)

Klyros are what furries call "scalies," I believe. : -
