Title: There can only be so many socks in a drawer
Post by: Waterman on November 26, 2008, 04:49:11 am
It was really an interesting discovery.

But really, I wish I had a hat to wear.  Too bad they just don't work.

Where are my pockets?

Can anyone guess the point to this thread?  I promise there is one.

Sooner or later everyone learns not to post while drunk.

Consumerism?  Too many types of socks and we still think there aren't enough to wear?
/me shrugs

This must be about the inverse relationship between how many socks and hats fit within a drawer, and the consequence that befalls one's pants when they choose not to have hats.

Just a guess >.>

Google retorts  is there any such thing as too many socks? (http://antediluviancrafts.wordpress.com/2008/08/24/is-there-any-such-thing-as-too-many-handknitted-socks/)

any odd number is too many or too few unless perhaps you have an odd number of appendages to wear them on.

Is a struck through promise a broken one or do we get to hear the point?

Homik, great reply.

Is a struck through promise a broken one or do we get to hear the point?

Though there is a point, I felt the thread would be better without it, but I thought it'd probably get locked if I didn't add that part in there.

That is to say, the point of the thread is not actually the point.

Clear, huh?

Sooner or later everyone learns not to post while drunk.

I pretty much post solely when drunk.  Or "after drunk" as I like to call it.

Consumerism is based upon the fear of loss.

Does that elusive "last sock" actually exist?

I bet the couch ate them.  >:(

If my sock drawer has no bottom, can I really call it a drawer?

I'd call it a sofa.

Floor if you ask me.

Hear, hear! Most people hear the advice but few people heed it!
