For some reason, I remember hearing that Derghirs eat Krans at times. I reread the books, but I either didn't see it mentioned in them, or I overlooked that information. So, for clarification, would it be safe for a Kran to walk near them (IE: do their quests)?

srsly? Derghirs are, like, Kran midgits... How does that work? ???
-
Pretty much the same way you eat a cow I guess
-
That's awesome. Kran farms. When you milk them, does mud come out?

Derghirs are not krans, but they are both silicate creatures, and both eat silicate compounds. Normally their diet is mineral in nature (ores, gems,) but if derghirs get desperate, they will swarm a kran for food. Krans can eat derghirs, but generally won't, in the same way that we generally won't eat dogs.

Hah, so my question wasn't so dumb after all. :P

Questions are never dumb although sometimes the answers are ;)

Mord, what does the inside of ones nose smell like?
-
Aha! so bilbous' insinuation that he found derghirs, gobbles and riverlings to be delicacies (in days gone by) was not so far-fetched after all. What a brute he is.
Tell you what neko, cut off your nose and send it to me and I'll tell you what it smells like, I imagine it will smell pretty bad by the time it gets here. :offtopic:
