HI there,
I am reporting a crash in the game that occurs repeatedly. The problem is not my computer, for it is a fresh install of xp sp3 and only has about 5 programs on it all open source and virus free. It is a compaq presario v2410ca laptop if that is needed for possible hardware issues. I managed to do the tutorial and all of that, then it said it was transfering me to the real world, then the game stopped responding and crashed and my computer was non-responsive. The screen turned blue with white specs and i was worried the thing was overheating but it wasn't, i checked from my bios. I had to restart my computer (hard reboot) in order to get it going again. Then i tried the game again. The server let me log in. After i chose my character and tried to log in with it (after completing the tutorial with the same character) tried again with the same crash result. Every time i try to log in with a character that has completed the tutorial my screen goes blue with the whie sort of blobs of pixles, i wish i could take a picture, it is quite bizzare.
Would any of you have a remedy for this situation?
Thanks!

Can you give more information about your box?
I got the blue screen of death once from this new version (crashed from the ATI OpenGL driver) so maybe this is related.
Windoze XP Home SP3
AMD Athlon XP 2000
1 GB RAM
ATI All-in-Wonder X800XT with ATI Catalyst 8.11
EDIT: After rereading your post, noticed that when you said "blue screen with white specs" you do not mean the blue screen of death.

It is absolutely not the blue screen of death, i am a competdent linux user as well so i am well seasoned with it. Here is a readout of my full system specs and some of its configeration, a good program to recomend to people to do this is Belarc Advisor just in case you didn't know about it. That way you don't have to hunt all over your manufacturer's website which also lacks detail.

I use the omega ati drivers rather than my manufacturer's out of date display drivers which have trouble achieving beyond 15 fps in a 3d environment. The omega drivers are stable and used by many around the world. Hopefully this helps. I know it is a lot of clutter and thanks for your time.

Alright, i just told it to launch in window mode and it spat out the error but it gave the option to save a dump log and i did. Ill upload the dump and the text error log to save file in a zip file (unencrypted). Here is the link... http://www.savefile.com/files/1921888

Edit: Should this be on the bug tracker? If so how do i post there? i have never used one before... is there a protocol beyond common sense?
