Hi HordeFusion. You're asking for a spoiler, and we aren't allowed to give spoilers via the official forum. I recommend joining a guild and asking them.

Oh, uhm, What is a "Spoiler" exactly?

It's something told outside of the game that could "spoil" you from finding the information ingame by yourself. And yes, it isn't allowed, unfortunately.

There are several single glyph spells in both dark way and red way, you should perhaps discover those first. Certainly the glyphs that can be purchased from the mage near hydlaa all have spells associated with them, if you have not met him perhaps you could ask around in the game. Aside from those glyphs most of the rest come from doing quests and a few are monster drops. Pretending you are Beowulf for a while might be of some value to you.
-
Okay thanks! 2 more question what is "Beowulf" and can you make spells by using like 2 Death Glyphs or 3 Death Glyphs or so at once? or is that just a waste of trias?
-
Beowulf (http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Beowulf_(Gummere)) is an Anglo-Saxon epic poem. Most of the quests seem to be directed at a character like the person in the poem, or at least were at a time. As for the glyphs, I'm quote sure it is a waste.

It was a cryptic clue about a possible source of a glyph that had little to do with questing, to say more about it will not be possible.
Spoilt flesh is rife with things decayed, a rare soul of a certain bent might find value in its vicinity.
Good luck.

Okay, Thanks for all the help.

I can tell you that any spells that require more then one glyph don't show up until level 40-60-80 in a Way
or at least I hope I can

Well, I think you are wrong in that regard.
Btw. magic in Planeshift is a "joke" IMHO. But since I no longer play it doesn't matter I guess.
Have fun!

i would not say that ;)

One thing I dont see mentioned here.
Research the spells. Take a glyph and purify it and then drag it and any others y ou are curious about and research it. be aware if there is no spell you are able to learn yet, or if you just fail that attempt of researching, it can hurt a bit, but you will heal, and live to try again, if you know to watch your health. I have never heard of anyone dying from repeated spell researching, but I guess it is possible, if you really try.
You do not need to know the name of a spell, just research it.
More can be found in the pswiki, I am sure. They are good for non-spoiler info.
ask around for that, or search it in forums, I am sure it is posted here somewhere.

Some of these posts are dangerously close to being spoilers, especially Prolix's...
With so much information available on magic, and so many people eager to share such information, I still think joining a guild is the best option. Instead of us answering a few of your questions and hinting at a few spells, a guild can serve you for the life of your character.
-
You are correct, Zanzibar. Join the right guild and a player will never be in the dark about anything to do with the game because everything is right in their guild website.
Personally I think that is the wrong reason to join a guild but I may effectively be in a minority on that point.
-
One of the reasons for the ban on spoilers is to help promote guilds, so the devs don't mind. Neither do I. I think guilds are great.

This one's not a spoiler, though outdated:

I would call that a spoiler.

if you read that thread, it has been around for a very long time and even has official approval to exist... your opinion on spoiler status is duly noted... and placed in my circular file...

My opinion was given to me by devs...
-
And the opinion on the link was given by Talad. What is your point?

That the devs are all unique individuals with their own unique talents and views? I'm not sure where this discussion is going. Using common sense, I don't think the thread you linked to means we're allowed to post spoilers. If you are unsure of what's a spoiler or not, I would go on IRC and ask a dev or gm about it before posting. Does that help you?

Combination of glyphs to make spells are considered a spoiler, the rest is ok.
seems pretty authoritative in regards to that thread.
As for my cryptic clues that prompted your concern in the first place they seem to be acceptable because the moderators have never removed them or otherwise cautioned me about them.
A hint is a hint, a spoiler is flat out revealing hidden content.
Please correct me if I am wrong, moderator.
