Title: idea for quest items

Maybe give NPCs a set items to give out for their first, second, third quest; but have the NPC give out more than one quest for each item. Or have a quest that is set but shifts which item is needed at the time. I.E. Brado asks you to fetch 10 items. It may be food or weapons or anything.

This will give little bit of the uniqueness some players want in quests and eventually make it harder to make step by step guides for them. But it won't make it impossible for people to ask in game and get help

I don't know.  I don't think players are thirsty for more diverse rewards, so much as they're thirsty for more diverse tasks.

If we had a system where we it was Get X from Y, and we had ten options for X and Y that were selected at random, then that's 100 quests.  If you had a quest that's Get X from Y, and then Y asks you to first get A from B, and you have ten options for each of those, then that's 10,000 quests.
