Hey, I'm an Aspiring author and think it would be an AWESOME idea if I could get permission from the makers of planeshift to write a novel based on... planeshift, I would stick to the strictly to the settings, and would be sure that a sum of the profits went to the development of planeshift, that way income brought from the novel could be used to advance Planeshift, without making players pay, sticking to the free for ever policy. If any of the development team could get to me, I would appreciate it, thankyou.

As the setting and works of PlaneShift are copyrighted I suggest you send an email direct to Talad outlining your proposal, but please be aware he is busy and gets hundreds of emails every day so may take some time to respond.

Your aspiration is truly impressive, however, I recommend you to get some practice before you try writing a novel about PlaneShift, such as spelling practice and a change in your style of writing. It is good to see you tried writing a story in the other forum section, but the story lacks something that catches the reader. Your style might fit a radio report, but not a book.

You could also apply for the settings team and get experience writing for planeshift the way the rest of us do.
There is a body of unpublished material players don't yet have access to that would be needed before any novel length work could succeed in adhering to the settings.

Suggestions taken aboard, however what i was hoping for wasn't exactly a story, i was hoping people would put in, but ah well...
