I'm new to this, and have just successfully completed the Tutorial...
However, after saying "I want to enter Yliakum", the game crashes, a dialog box asserts and saves a log file...

As advised in this forum, I did an update (I did an update... ;)), and now when I run PlaneShift, another assertion occurs that saves...

Looks like the same issue to me.
I've tried the bugtracker, but the search sucks, always returning the same useless pages, and the "Guide to the BugTracker" link results in an "Address not found" error
Where do I go from here please, are the dump files of any use, if so where do I send them?

I can't recall exactly where I first found the info (I think it was here on the forums) but I believe it was requested that you send those .dmp files to Lanarel.Arewar [omg spam is bad and doesn't taste good] @gmail.com with details of when the crash happened in game, and what your character name is. That helps the devs troubleshoot was is wrong, and hopefully fix it.

please do not post email address without a nospam feature due to bots and crawling websites also best to link to http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=31760.0 as it explains more about what to do when submiting the reports.
also helps to list your system stats when reporting a crash as that may help us determine what is wrong and suggest fixes.

If someone doesn't want their email posted publicly like that, I'll respect that, but I've been posting my gmail address in forums since gmail beta first launched, and I *very* rarely get spam that the gmail filters don't catch. Gmail is very good like that.

That may so, but it's proper practice to do one's part not to spread the ability for crawlers to get a hold of email addresses anyways.
