Title: How to get it to work ?

Ok  download went ok, registered, did the verification, no quickstart icon.
Cannot see a way to boot the game, not even on the home page ( if thats what it is ).
So registered here no probs ,and posted this question.
How to start the game ?

The file that you downloaded is an installer.  Did you run the installer?

And what operating system are you using?

Yes run, on XP.

It should have created entries in your Start Menu.

You can also go to C:\Program Files\Planeshift to make sure the game is installed there and just run the game from that folder, or make shortcuts.

No , start entry or shortcut.

However I did get it working by going to the folder, find pssetup / pssetup_static folder and dbl klik it.
Was gona do a nub starter thread but got caught up in tutorial with my spelling errors.
The most frustrating time was at the end when you do all quests and get a reward , the npc dosnt really hint very well what your supposed to say to finnish.
Not sure how well I will go with this all , as Im not good at RP. Will attempt the solo direction to start.
