Title: crash at start, nothing loads

Hello, neither client not setup load, both crashes, it says:
Something unexpected happened in planeshift: steel blue
details: EXCEPTION_ACCES_VIOLATION at 6954A66E

my computer is an AMD XP 2000+, ATI RADEON 9600 PRO, last driver
using windows XP, SP3

Windows tell me about the error

modver: 6.14.10.8543
appver 0.4.3.0
offset: 0051a66e
modname atioglxx.dll

it seems to be something about the ati card, but I can't get it.

Hi,

The Ati OpenGL drivers generally s... have problems.

I also have a Radeon card, so I feel your pain. But trying out different versions of the catalyst driver helped me a couple of times.
(the newest version is 9.3 ihmo,  but I can check which version I use currently when I get home).

Does pssetup crash on atioglxx.dll as well?  Please post the crash message for pssetup like you did for psclient.

I'll answer on the other thread once I'm convinced it has to do with the driver.

pssetup_static has encountered a problem and needs to close,.... I click on details
