Hello, I was in Ojaveda doing some cooking, but all that I prepare cannot be eaten (slice apples, chunks of meat... anything).
I would want to know If I can cook everything that I can eat afterwards and if they have an increase in stats or something else. What steps whould I make in order to achieve that?
Also, where can I train my baking skills and how?
PD: A last think, what is the difference between the Basic Cook Book and Working in a Kitchen?
Greetings

I do believe if you examine/read the cooking book, it has recipes in it telling you some of the foods you can make.
-
I don't think player made foods can be eaten yet, as far as game mechanics go they're completely useless.

So far cooked food is only good for using as roleplay props.
Basic Cook Book has a few different recipes than Working in a Kitchen, though in my experience, it doesn't usually matter which you have equipped.

Working in a kitchen has basic recipes, Basic cookbook gets more recipes the higher a level in cooking you get, and food not being eatable is a database issue that should be fixed within a few updates I believe. For now, the only food that has any affects is what can be bought from NPCs. Crafted food is basically just a nice start to cooking, more useful to roleplaying than actually game mechanics, and an alternate way to make money crafting.

Oh, and (hopefully this isn't a spoiler >>; ) I've discovered training baking tends to get you a handful of recipes, too.
