Maybe this should be in Technical problems before entering the game.
Can you give us more details please?
What are your system specs?
What is your operating system? (might be Windows XP, but just a wild guess, but is it 32 bit or 64 bit)
Did you compile the game yourself, or install from the packages?
Did you run the updater?
How are you starting the game? (console mode, or with a desktop shortcut?)

I compile the game myself.
PlaneShift Compiling : MSVC Developer Static
wkspsstatic.sln Debug with static libs
When I start the "psserver_static.exe" .Then the console display the error.

I use the "Normal" recompile.Error has been resolved. :P
