Title: How to mount art in development
Post by: Davigetto on April 25, 2009, 10:48:10 am
I have followed the compiling guide, and I got the art from the SVN (PSArt section). If I put the art folder from a PS installation the compiled client works, but it does not with the art downloaded from SVN. What must I do to get it working?

Greetings

There is not much art in svn art.
Assuming you are using svn trunk:  Better to use the art from install, then copy data from install over data in trunk (but do not change data/gui). At the moment there are many problems with the new version of CS though, so a lot of things look bad, you will crash often (for example teleport does not work) etc. Also many things are under development, so GUI is not working well either.

Hello

I assume there is sometimes new art necessary (e.g. for pslaunch or new maps for the upcoming nicer looking graphic). Is there a way to get this art for a trunk client?

Not at the moment. Many of this is under development and not publicly available. Although it is the intention to have a working set available in svn, at the moment so many things are being changed that that is not the case.
