erm i just logged in and started playing again and apparently there's no option to run? How am i supposed to get around everything walk the entire game? x.x

Hello

In RL you also don't run all the time, no?
But there you also don't have the shift/ctrl button on you...
Maybe take both into consideration  ;)

Assuming you don't use a mac where you'd possibly have to reset the key

Go to options and switch the key.

"O"ptions - Keyboard - Modifiers

You can reassign them as you like.

I, for example, assigned them to "Right Shift" for running (gear up...), and "Right Ctrl" for sneaking (more controlled movement), so I can easily move with one hand on the cursor-cross.

Windows uses LShift and RShift (or is it ShiftL and ShiftR?), whereas the Mac doesn't have those keys, just a simple "Shift".

So if you are on a Mac, you'll have to switch Run and Creep; the Mac guide somewhere here switches them to Shift and Alt ("Option").
