Hello, I'm thinking about submitting that bug :
Yesterday I fought 3 eagle gobbles on the river across the Oja Road.
Note that the /targetinfo was returning "... may be impossible to defeat."
I attacked the first gobble who just run at me and waited kindly to be slashed, it did not ever tried to attack...
The second gobble tried to attack, but never hit me.
The third gobble ran at me, attacked with both hands and dealt me 140 and 120 damage before I joined the beloved DR.
I can't help but thinking : "What is wrong with these damn creatures ?"
I didn't saw this kind of bug in the bugtracker, but maybe I hadn't seen it. Should I proceed it to BT ?

sounds like server instability to me

The message says it all. May be impossible to defeat.
Your ability to figure out which creatures you can kill will change and you will get a different message as your fighting skill increases.

So it's perfectly natural that a gobble cant' even scratch my armor and the other just beside kills me in 2 strikes ?
You can't be serious...

Low accuracy high power?
-
quite normal. there is always one gobble who is stronger than the other gobbles. same with the serpent gobbles at the end of the river

Since all player characters don't have the same fighting skills why would you expect all NPCs to have the same fighting skills? In real life do all creatures of the same species have the same fighting abilities? If anything having different levels of fighting skills within the same species makes things more realistic.
-
and is not only with the goobles, all creatures of the same kind have different lvls of power... take the easies example: Volcano ulbers are a pretty much easy, and gold mine ulbers (all mines) are almost impossible for anyone to defeat with just weapons. ;D

Because they all look the same. :P

THAT IS NOT A VOLCANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a crater.
-
Those particular gobbles are a bit tricky, some of them are so weak a newbie fresh out of the tutorial could kill them, and then others have something crazy like lvl 200 melee. The difference between the mine ulbers and the volcano ulbers isn't quite as significant.

/me thanks god for Nature's Intuition

Okay thanks Vannata. I still find it strange, but maybe that's a feature :sweatdrop:

It is good finding several mobs of the same specie with different strengths, at least they could test the power of most adept warriors in this world limited of several species of creatures. After killing ulbers from the C-R-A-T-E-R and being bored of 'em, one could think about challenging those ones from the mine or another stronger creatures (even if they give lesser or same PP).

[joke]Vannaka is a transformer: Vannaka evolves to Vannana and now we have seen the birth of a new mutant warrior: Vannata. Will Vannata evolve into a more advanced creature? Or will he just be doomed to an amorphal form? Answer after the ads.[/joke]
